A special binaural (the microphones are set up to mimic human ears) recording of the music, people and sounds of our festivals.
If you listen through headphones you are instantly taken back to the festival. You can feel the people with you, you are there in the jam, you are at Small World, in the audience, at the Tragics gig, you can almost see the smiling, dancing, colourful people all around. You are taking a walk around site. You are back in the audience with your friends. An amazing set of recordings that really have captured the unique flavour of our festival. SMALL WORLD
NEWS
29/09/06
Summer draws to a close and a new season approaches.

We have had such a wonderful adventure this Summer, perhaps our best ever. The inspiration of our magical, wet Spring Festival. The most glorious belly up festie yet, the Sunrise Solstice Celebration. The soft beauty of the Buddhafield. The storming success of the Big Green Gathering and finishing with our best Small World Festival so far (by both popular opinion and our own).

The magic generated in the Small World has never been so strong, the artists, crew and the community have never had such a strong sense of belonging. The bird (or is it a flock of birds now?) is flying, thermalling high in the summer breeze.

We want to thank everyone involved in making this Summer so pleasurable for us.
To the core Small World crew for making it a joy to be alive in the fields all Summer.
To Penny and Johan for letting us use their very special piece of land and supporting us so consistently.
To our festival crews: the site crew for it's unending hard work, the car park crew for keeping it working whatever the circumstances, the wood crew, the box office and security crew, the stewards, welfare and toilet fairies.
Thankyou to all those that brought their beautiful spaces, their crews and the tons of kit needed and ran them with such love and dedication.
Thankyou to all the artists, performers, healers, teachers, magicians, shamans and truly inspired people for bringing their creativity and love to us for so little financial return.
We know what you all go through to keep this all going and growing. Thankyou

And a big big big thankyou to all of you that come to the Small World. You are truly the most magical, warm, open, smiley, friendly, creative, colourful and trusting audience that anyone could wish for, you heal, enthuse and energise us whenever you come into (y)our home.

Love love love
Pony and Emma
